My Blue Tansy Balm melted! What do I do?

To maintain the purity of our Blue Tansy Beauty Balm we have not added any stabilizers, waxes, preservatives or emulsifiers, only nutrient-rich ingredients. The beauty is how easily it applies and melts into the skin. Unfortunately, this also makes it vulnerable to temperature changes. This in no way affects the efficacy of the product.

If your balm should arrive melted or melt in your care, place in the fridge overnight and allow to return to room temperature. 

If it’s partially melted and a little grainy, you can remelt it by securing the lid and placing it in a bowl of very hot water until totally melted. Once melted, place in the refrigerator overnight and allow to return to room temperature.

Your moisturizer is best stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight to maintain its consistency. 

I received my Passion Fruit Cleansing Melt in the mail and it looks soft. Has it gone bad?

It is normal for your Passion Fruit Cleanser to soften if exposed to high temepratures. This in no way affects the efficacy.

Simply stir contents of jar with a clean spoon and place the sealed jar in the fridge for 1-2 hours. Allow to return to room temperature.

Does the Passion Fruit Cleansing Melt remove makeup?

The Passion Fruit Cleansing Melt is a luxurious 3-in-1 makeup remover, face cleanser and light moisturizer. Non-foaming and waterless to keep the moisture barrier in tact without clogging pores, leaving skin fresh and happy. Cloth optional but not required.

my skin is oily, I'm afraid that your face oils & face balm will cause my skin to break out.

A common misconception with oily, combination or acneic skin is that you should avoid using moisturizers, creams, or oil-based products. But in fact, the opposite is true. All skin types need oil to function, and in many cases, applying a bit of oil topically can actually do wonders to regulate and rebalance the skin’s natural oil production cycles.

We’ve formulated our face oils and face balms with non-comedogenic ingredients that do not block pores. For maximum absorption apply over wet/damp skin to allow increased hydration and to seal in the moisture.

Why doesn't my skin feel squeaky clean after using your cleansers?

Healthy skin should feel soft and plump after cleansing. Our face cleansers are formulated to cleanse the skin without damaging the acid mantle that protects your skin. A squeaky clean and tight feeling after cleansing means that the natural oils have been stripped from your skin. This can cause an imbalance and create sensitization in your skin.

Our Formulas

Is everything that you make really natural?

Yes! All of our products are created with the finest natural ingredients we can find. This includes premium, primarily organic plant based oils, essential oils, herbs, butters, clays and sea salts. They are void of any parabens, synthetic fragrances, dyes, fillers or artificial preservatives and are phthalate and cruelty free.

Are your products vegan/cruelty-free?

All of our products are 100% vegan with exception to our Comfrey + Yarrow Foot Balm, Hibiscus Honey Mask, Cacao Mousse Mask and the Vitamin C Cleansing Grains. These products are formulated with natural wildcrafted honey, which are made by our bee friends! We also do not participate in animal testing whatsoever. We do not purchase from suppliers who are unable to prove that they are also cruelty-free. We love animals, and it is very important for us to stay cruelty-free. We test every product on family, friends, and employees. Never on animals.

Where do you source your materials from?

Whenever possible we source our ingredients within the United States. We do research to make sure our ethics align with those we source from.

What is the shelf life of your products?

Since our products contain no artificial preservatives, their shelf life is shorter than mass produced items. Each product label contains a POA (period-after-opening) symbol to indicate its estimated shelf life. Most of our products will remain fresh for 6 months to 1 year. 

You are advised to treat these products as you would fresh food ingredients, using them daily rather than holding onto them. If you are curious about the specifics of an individual product, please email us and we'll be happy to help. Our products will stay fresher longer if kept out of direct sunlight and at room temperature or below.

Are your products safe to use during pregnancy?

The only products we don’t recommend using during pregnancy/while nursing is Hibiscus Honey Enzyme Mask, Fruit Enzyme Mask and Fruit Enzyme Tonic. They contain an ingredient called White Willow Bark Extract (natural BHA), which can act as a blood-thinner when ingested like Aspirin. While the percentage of natural white willow bark is very small, we always recommend that you consult your health care professional for further advise. Although you won’t be eating this, we like to mention it just to be extra safe. We also use therapeutic grade essential oils in most all of our products. It is recommended that you consult with your health care official to establish whether these ingredients are safe to use during pregnancy.

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

Our products were formulated to work with all skin-types, especially sensitive skin. Our goal is to provide you with quality skincare using ingredients that are non-irritating, detergent-free, and free from all dyes, fragrance, and harsh chemicals.

I have an allergy to an ingredient.

We recommend you do not use the products if you have a known allergy to an ingredient. If you have sensitive skin, please perform a "patch test" to ensure that your skin is compatible with a product before using. All ingredient information is available on each product page for your convenience. It is the responsibly of you (the consumer) to read the ingredients of each product before purchasing and determining if the product is right for you. Allergies to our products are not common. If you have been using a skincare line that contains synthetic ingredients before switching to our natural products, you may experience a ‘transition period’ in which the skin releases impurities that have built up from the use of these ingredients over time. These reactions are also uncommon, but if the reaction is severe, of course, please stop using the product. We do not accept returns of opened products, even if it's due to an allergic reaction. Please make sure you read the ingredient listing carefully to ensure you don't have any sensitivities to the ingredients.

Can I try before I buy?

If you are new to our skincare, we highly recommend starting with our travel sizes to make sure our line is a good fit for you. These travel size products are ideal to test for skin compatibility and preference. If you're wondering if our products are right for you, be sure to read our product pages. We've outlined key ingredients and their benefits. We also include samples in every order.

What is the difference between the sample sizes and travel sizes?

We include a free sample/s with every order. You can select the sample you would like to try from the drop down menu when checking out. If we do not have the selected sample in stock we will substitute another.

The travel size face masks are enough for 2-3 applications, depending on the amount used per application. The travel size face mists are usually enough for 10+ applications, depending on amount used per application.

What are your shipping options?

We offer free domestic USPS First Class shipping on all orders. If you would like your order as soon as possible we suggest you choose the upgraded shipping option.

U.S. Priority Mail:

  • $8.95 flat rate
  • Estimated 1-3 shipping days (after 3-5 business day processing)
  • Includes insurance in case your package is lost or damaged
Do you ship internationally?

We ship to most foreign countries with a flat-rate shipping fee of $32.95.

Please allow up to four weeks (excluding 3-5 business day processing) for your order to arrive after shipping. Usually it will arrive sooner, but customs departments do have the right to hold items and there is not much we can do about this. Also, we do not pay for anything to be released from customs to you. 

Please keep in mind that what you pay online for your order does not include possible taxes and import duties which may be applied by customs authorities on delivery into your country. The payment and knowledge of taxes and duties that may apply to your purchase are your responsibility and we do not reimburse customs or duties costs. For more information on what duties and taxes may be payable by you prior to the delivery of your parcel, we strongly recommend checking your local customs website or contacting them directly prior to placing your order. Please note, if you choose not to pay duties on import and return the package, we may refund the order less any shipping paid.

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to forwarding company addresses at this time. If an order is placed with a forwarding shipping address, the order may be canceled automatically by our system. 

Do you offer shipping insurance?

We've partnered with Route who offers one-click claims if your package never showed up, was stolen, or was damaged for a very small additional fee ($.98- $2.55).

When can I expect my order?

As each order is handcrafted, please allow up between 3-5 business days (excludes weekends and holidays) for your order to ship.

Every product is created, bottled, and labeled in house and handled with intention and care. If you need your item sooner, please email us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

For U.S. Orders: We primarily ship through USPS. After shipping, please allow another 3-5 business days for your order to arrive for standard shipping.

For International Orders: Please allow up to four weeks for your order to arrive after shipping. Usually, it will arrive sooner, but customs departments do have the right to hold items and there is not much we can do about this. Also, we do not pay for anything to be released from customs to you.

My order says it was delivered, but I never received it. What do I do? 

It's common for carriers to scan a package as delivered before they actually deliver it. Give it 2 days or so to show up in your mailbox before contacting USPS. If 2-3 days has passed and you still haven't received your package, here's a tip that we've found works best: print out the tracking information, write a note to your local carrier and stick it in your mailbox. Let your carrier know you haven't received the package. This usually works better than calling customer service. If this doesn't work or you still haven't received your package, please contact your local USPS office for more information: 1 (800) 275-8777.

I received my order and it's damaged, what do I do?

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You can reach us through email at hello@bluehavenholistics.net

What is Your return policy?

Due to the high cost of ingredients and the labor intensive small-batch process of our products, we are unable to accept returns of opened or unopened products at this time. Most of our products have a sample option for purchase. If you’re unsure wether a product would be suitable, we encourage you to buy a sample first to ensure that the product meets your skin’s needs.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, Paypal, Meta Pay and Google Pay.

We've also partnered with Shop Pay to offer you the option to pay in full at checkout, or to split your purchase into 4 equal, interest-free installment payments for orders between 50 USD and 3,000 USD. There are no additional charges, interest rates, or late fees.

To use SHOP PAY Installments:

- Select SHOP PAY Installments

- Review your purchase and choose to either make your first payment at checkout or 2 weeks after the purchase is made. The 3 remaining payments are automatically charged to your debit or credit card every 2 weeks. You'll receive an email reminder before each payment is charged.
