Bakuchiol

• How it works: A natural retinol alternative, bakuchiol promotes cell turnover, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, and improves skin elasticity. Unlike synthetic retinol, it is gentle and does not cause irritation or sensitivity.

Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (Vitamin C)

CoQ10 (Ubiquinone)

This balm is a holistic solution designed to combat signs of aging, restore hydration, and improve overall skin health with the power of nature. Its blend of botanicals and oils ensures gentle, effective results for all skin types.

We formulate our products with all skin types in mind, including sensitive. However, as every skin is unique, we recommend patch testing a small amount of product on an inconspicuous area first to ensure compatibility.

We choose not to include water in most of our formulations for a few key reasons. Water can dilute the potency of active ingredients, requiring the addition of preservatives to prevent microbial growth. By formulating our products without water, we can offer more concentrated, effective formulations that harness the full power of our natural ingredients. This approach aligns with our commitment to purity and efficacy, ensuring that every application delivers real, nourishing benefits to your skin without unnecessary additives.

Our Bakuchiol is not the same as bakuchiol oil, babchi oil, and NOT cold-pressed babchi seed oil. It’s purchased through the only supplier of true Bakuchiol and is backed with clinical data that of proven efficacy as a natural retinol alternative in a cosmetic formulation.

We use the maximum recommend amount of bakuchiol in our formulation.

Traditional face moisturizers such as creams and lotions contain 70-80% water which is why they absorb effortlessly. In comparison, anhydrous balms and face oils are very concentrated.

When switching over from a traditional face cream to a face balm or oil, you will notice that you use only about a 1/4 of what you would normally use with a cream or lotion. If your face balm or oil leaves your skin feeling greasy, then you might be using too much. To increase absorption, layer your balm or oil over a face mist or damp skin. This not only seals in hydration and moisture but also creates an occlusive skin barrier.

If you enjoy citrus scents, you'll love this one! The scent profile is similar to our Passionfruit Cleansing Balm, a light orange-vanilla popsicle scent.

Our Bakuchiol Regenerative Balm provides a concentrated layer of antioxidant and lipid protection that seals in hydration and moisture with its occlusive properties. Potent, raw whole plant botanicals were carefully selected to help regenerate skin at a cellular level and provide a barrier of defense against free radical damage. The texture is very smooth, glides on skin with ease and absorbs nicely. Choose this concentrated balm if you are seeking an intensely nourishing and emollient face balm for dry skin or facial protection from the elements. Can also be used by other skin types as a night treatment.

The Blue Tansy Beauty Balm has become a cult favorite in the Blue Haven line. It is a lighter balm without any stabilizers or waxes. As each order is handcrafted, please allow between 3-5 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) for your order to ship unless otherwise noted in the description of the product. Some items may ship in separate boxes, but will not require additional shipping charges.
